City of Mati – Think before you click, is the message of the Training Workshop on Social Media Marketing last May 3, 2019.
Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) Resource Person Piper Rombuanga said that, social media can work in your for in your business and your professional career, that is why one should be responsible on what to post.
Rombuanga stressed, “It doesn’t mean you deleted it , no one can see it anymore because digital footprint is real.”
Rombuanga also owns a computer training school in Davao City called Knights of Online Marketers.
The training was organized by the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) , the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mati City Tourism and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Participants of the activities were business owners, out of school youth, students, community leaders and professionals.
PCUP Area Coordinator Marilou Tarona said, “We are grateful to the Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology (DOSCST) for allowing our participants to use school’s computer laboratory for the workshop”.
This is in partnership with Green Communities Program and Kalamboan sa Barangay Program under the Barangay Affairs Coordinating Unit (BACU).
